About Elaine

Imagine Elaine Roberts as a child dropped at the Toledo Museum of Art to spend her day amid classical art and vintage tableaux, followed by childhood memories of her grandmother’s Old West End historical home. Encouraged by her parents toward two careers in higher education and in design, that lead to an Allied ASID and a Ph.D. in Literacy and Culture, prompting Elaine to create a three-hour credit course for the Georgia Real Estate Board entitled Capitalizing on Home Design Tools for Faster Better Sales Results. Author of several books, Elaine Roberts is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers and the creator of Elaine Roberts Interiors. Elaine was honored in 2020 as an ASID Industry Insider by the magazine Modern Luxury Interiors Atlanta. The Elaine Roberts Interiors booth at Scott’s Antique Market in Atlanta was where Elaine was found each month sharing her inspirations with buyers, clients, and other vendors. She recently moved to San Antonio to live near her family and pursue new design endeavors. Elaine's recent coffee table book, The Interior Design World of Elaine Roberts: The Art of Dazzling Design, is available on the Archway Publlishing Bookstore website and Amazon.
